Your mothboard power connector could use some black heat-shrink tubing.

Seeing that I may have to get a CPU cooler like that the next time I can afford an upgrade. I got a low end 2 GHz C2D with the plan to replace with something like a Q6600 down the line, but regardless of how cheap a better CPU is there is no way I'm going to try and remove my tuniq tower and put it back after as it was a PAIN to install. Where as that CPU cooler you've got looks quite simple.

How about a nice game of chess?

Depending what you can afford I still have my old i7 920 ran it mostly at 3.2, then when I went sli pushed it to 3.8, done a bench test and got it to 4.5 but ran a bit hot on the prime test. comes with a eVGA x58 Sli le board and 12 GB Corsair Dominator ram.

Was a very good system only updated ...because I cant help myself :(

I'm still on my 955BE managed to up it to 4ghz so it's got some life left in it until I take the plunge and go for an i7 2600K system. The whole range of those coolers is meant to be great, hows the noise level on it?
