This is the PC i built last year, part of me always wants to upgrade but its too damn expensive, it's not future proof but there is not a game out there i have not been able to max out.

Case: COOLERMASTER HAF 932 FULL TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor: Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-950 (3.06GHz) 4.8GTs/8MB Cache
Motherboard: ASUS® P6X58D-E: DDR3, USB 3.0, SATA 6.0GB/s, 3-Way SLI
Memory: 6GB SAMSUNG DDR3 TRI-DDR3 1333MHz (3 X 2GB)
Graphics Card:1536MB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX480 GDDR5 PCI EXPRESS - DirectX® 11 x2
Hard Disk :640GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD6402AAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)
Power Supply: CORSAIR 1200W PRO SERIES™ GOLD AX1200-80 PLUS® GOLD MODULAR
Processor Cooling: TITAN FENRIR EVO EXTREME HEATPIPE CPU COOLER

The only thing i am really considering is possibly a SSD but i'm not 100% sure its worth the cost/benefit ratio as these tend to be quite expensive!

Sorry about the caps, copy and paste etc.

One thing i did not anticipate is the noise of the 2 cards combined, it can be a little off putting at times.

Any of you guys planning on buying the SW:TOR themed accessories? Keyboard, Mouse, Headset?? If so then why?.

Nice system you have there quite similar to the ones I'm on now, I'm only doing this upgrade as I got the 2600k brand new for virtually free from Overclokers

The M4 is brilliant, its about £132 for 128GB and they do make a huge difference I boot off two old SSD 64GB, and even with them I boot in seconds.. they about the best upgrade to any PC.
Yeah a bit expensive but at £132 from Overclockers for the 128GB, cant go wrong. There is 1 or 2 faster ones but none anywhere near as reliable, and saying that the only faster ones its only really loses in compressible sequential reads and writes which is hardly used in day to computing.

Total price? :D And I really hope you have at least 2x24" LEDs to show you why you have such "horsepower" :)

erm no not really as it will never use more than half the ram I have ..its just that rams so bloody cheap right now, thought I may as well go whole hog :p ..tho to be honest I made a mistake, not reading it properly as I wanted 2x8GB but what I bought was 4x4dual/quad ram. Only reason is that it puts less stress on the overclock if you don't use all the ram slots :p

But hey ho we never know what may just be a round the corner few years ago 6gb of ram was considered a crazy amount.
